Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Face Ratio ("we," "us," or "the site," accessible at https://faceratio.netlify.app) handles information when you use our website and its face analysis tool. By using the site, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Photos and Face Analysis

The Face Ratio analyzer processes your photos locally in your web browser using on-device machine-learning libraries (MediaPipe Face Mesh and OpenCV.js). Your uploaded photos are not transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers. When you close or reload the page, the photo and analysis results are discarded from memory. If you choose to download or share a result image, that action is under your control.

We recommend using photos of yourself only. Please do not upload photos of other people without their consent.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We use Google Analytics, which collects information such as pages visited, approximate location (with IP anonymization enabled), device and browser type, and interaction events (e.g., scroll depth). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Our hosting provider (Netlify) may also collect standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes.

3. Advertising and Cookies (Google AdSense)

We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.

For more information on how Google uses data when you use our site, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland will be shown a consent message before personalized ads are served, in accordance with Google's EU User Consent Policy.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how ads are shown to you but will not prevent the face analysis tool from working, as it runs entirely in your browser.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because this site does not maintain user accounts and does not store your photos, the personal data we hold about you is limited to the aggregated analytics and advertising data described above, which is managed by Google under its own policies.

To exercise rights related to Google's data processing, use the Google links in Section 3. For anything else, contact us using the details below.

6. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

8. Contact
